Data visualization difficulties in document databases
SPEAKER: Tatiana Krupenya
The meetup has ended
Abstract:
Showing the data from a document-oriented database is easy, isn’t it? We all love working with document-oriented databases. You can save everything you need there, you don’t need to think about the data structure, and you can view your data at any time as beautiful JSONs. What can go wrong? Actually, nothing if you want to look at only one or two documents. However, it can be tricky when you want to review tens or hundreds of documents simultaneously. At this moment, you may start thinking about how to view them more conveniently.
Modern reality drives the question of visualization documents even to more complicated areas:
- What if you need to analyze a set of unstructured documents?
- What if your database is not purely document-oriented but also has some relations?
- What if your documents have other documents or even collections of documents inside?
The questions are complex, but you can always find workarounds. Let’s review the options and discuss the difficulties together in the talk.
